Digital Content & Community Coordinator

Part-Time / Contract / Flexible / Remote / 8-12 hours per week

Reconsidered is seeking a proactive, curious, highly-organized Digital Content & Community Coordinator to help us execute on an exciting roadmap of content, virtual events and educational programs for our growing community of sustainable business practitioners.

The ideal candidate is highly-organized and process-oriented, with a commitment to producing quality work and a hawk’s eye for detail. They are a native English speaker with excellent written communications skills, experience in digital marketing and a knack for picking up new systems and software. They have no problem juggling multiple tasks or executing on the more tactical, administrative tasks required to keep our (energy-efficient) engine running.

This is an assistant-level role ideal for someone who is early in their digital communications and marketing career. We are specifically looking for someone who is committed to working in a freelance/contract capacity and excited to build an ongoing relationship with us. The role is contract, flexible, remote and part-time (starting at 8-12 hours/week).

About The Role

The Digital Content & Community Coordinator will assist our founder and Community Manager with a range of tasks including…

  • Supporting the publication of website content and educational resources, including formatting and uploading content as pages on our website (Squarespace), posts on our community platform (Circle), presentations (Google Slides) or formatted PDFs (Canva).

  • Supporting the publication of our email newsletters and campaigns, including formatting, light drafting and uploading content on our email marketing platform (currently Mailchimp).

  • Supporting the launch of our new membership community and resource hub, including formatting and uploading content to our community platform (Circle) and supporting the production of virtual events and webcasts.

  • Curating, formatting and publishing our bi-weekly impact jobs curation.

  • Executing our weekly social media content calendar, including formatting and posting content on LinkedIn on a daily basis.

  • Creating web, newsletter and social media graphics using pre-designed Canva templates.

  • Compiling email, website and social media metrics for monthly report-outs (bonus if these report-outs come with thoughtful analysis and recommendations!).

Who You Are

If we were to dream up our new colleague, here’s what they might look like…

  • You have super-strong attention to detail and a commitment to putting out top-quality work. If typos and small formatting inconsistencies drive you nuts, this is the role for you.

  • You are highly organized, self-motivated and skilled at prioritizing and balancing a range of different tasks, with minimal supervision. Your friends might call you the most organized person they know!

  • You are highly process-oriented and know how to balance being thorough with being efficient. You have a strong understanding of how you work best and are able to manage your time effectively.

  • You are a native English speaker with strong written communications skills. You excel at writing clear, concise, engaging content suited to digital formats.

  • You have an eye for aesthetics and graphic design, and you are able to work with pre-designed Canva templates while preserving the harmony of the original design.

  • You have strong interpersonal skills and a positive “can-do” attitude. You’re able to anticipate the needs of your colleagues and come to any challenge with evidence-based solutions.

  • You are quick to pick up new tech and tools, and you are curious about the possibility of AI supporting our work (with a strong regard for ethics, of course). We work in a variety of online systems, which you will need to be able to use (with some basic training). Our current “tech stack” includes Mailchimp, Squarespace, Circle, Canva, Zoom, Otter.ai and Google Drive.

  • You have a strong drive for making things better, and you feel compelled to research and understand any topic that might lead to improved outcomes for our company and community.

  • You have a passion for sustainable business and want to work for a company committed to making the world a better place.

Bonus if…

  • You have past experience assisting a team, an entrepreneur and/or CEO remotely. Past managers have praised your ability to “manage up and across” and always be one step ahead.

  • You’re an amazing copywriter who can adopt our brand’s voice/tone to create content that rises above the clutter to capture attention.

  • You are a strong graphic designer with an understanding of the types of images that work best on digital channels.

  • You have solid experience working with our current “tech stack” (see above) and geek out on finding new systems and solutions to help us work better.

Please note: we know that finding someone who ticks off all of the above points is near-impossible! If you don’t meet all of these qualifications — but are curious and eager to learn — we encourage you to apply anyway and proactively address any skills gaps in your application.
